Happy February! I’m excited to show you my second design of the year for this mini easel calendar.
This DSP is available as part of Sale-A-Bration through the end of February. If you buy $60 worth of product, you can get this for free! There are a lot of super cute things available in this year’s Sale-A-Bration, and I hope you check it out!

The cardstock mat for this calendar is 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ and the calendar itself is 3 1/8″ x 1 1/2″.
I always hate the idea of fussy-cutting, but I’m always very happy when I decide to do it. I think the key is making sure I’m not making too many copies of the same project. The mushrooms on this calendar were cut out of the Toadstool Gardens DSP.
The background paper is also from the Toadstool Gardens DSP. It’s funny, when I flipped through the stack of paper for the first time, this one was immediately my least favorite. I thought it was way too much. Looks can be deceiving! What might be too much on its own could end up as a perfect backdrop. None of the other patterns looked right with the mushrooms, but I think this one turned out great.
This calendar template was made by Anne Matasci. She’s been putting out designs for this calendar for years, she has such great ideas. If you’d like to see her design for this month, along with Cheryl Hamilton’s and Sharon Hashimoto Burkert’s, click on the image below. If you’re interested in buying the template, message Anne here.

Happy early Valentine’s Day and Super Bowl Sunday, and happy crafting!

Malia, I just love the bright, cheerful February page with that colorful background! You’ve convinced me to make a few cards with this DSP and to do a little “fussy cutting”!

Malia, that was my least favorite design in the pack as well, but I love what you’ve done. Goes to show that there’s a purpose for everything 😉. Great job – I love your alternate calendar design.
