I seem to be on a red and gold kick lately? Mostly, I just love this paper and really wanted to use it.

To be honest, I don’t know how I feel about this card. It’s very red. It would be really great for a Lunar New Year card. That said, I’m really glad I embossed on colored cardstock and not just on white. I tend to use white cardstock for all of my sentiments, but I want to try to branch out more, especially when I emboss.

I also love this punch. Punches are the best! This stamp set is also really cute. At first I thought the sentiments were too small for the punch, but you just need to use one of the border stamps and they turn out great! I also really love this sentiment. It’s a great one for romantic partners, but it will also be great on cards for co-workers and other partners in your life. It feels like a somewhat unique sentiment in that way.

Once I started embossing, I just couldn’t stop. I think I’m getting better at it, and it doesn’t seem as arduous as it used to.
