ISS Blog Hop – Fall Colors

For this month, we wanted to play with some fall colors! Fall is my favorite season, and the color profile matches my alma mater, so I love these colors. I made two designs using More Than Autumn, a super cute and versatile stamp set from the Sept-Dec 2024 mini catalog.

I am really happy with this stamp set. I plan to make hot cocoa packets with it later this year. It looks super intimidating at first, with a lot of small stamps that you might not be sure how to put together, but the way this is designed actually makes it very easy and super versatile.

For the apple gift card holder, I was able to stamp the sentiment easily. It took four different stamps, but I could decide how to arrange them and line them up easily because the stamps are transparent. I imagine this would be really great for embossing parts of a sentiment. It’s certainly easier than masking. I did mask the first part of the pumpkin gift card holder’s sentiment, but that wasn’t too bad.

This holder unfolds twice and has a belly band to keep it secure. It nicely holds a gift card and has a small place to write a note to the recipient. I think it’s a fun alternative if you’re tired of making standard sized cards.

If you’d like to see how this is made in more detail, check out my video below! Let me know what other sorts of things you’d like to see me make. Making videos is still daunting, but I think the more I make the more fun they’ll be.

What is your favorite season? What three colors would you pick to make a project for that season?

Next please check out a project by Mary Green! I’m excited to see what Fall Colors she picked out.

Happy crafting!
