For this month, we wanted to showcase our favorite products from the September – December 2024 Mini Catalog! There are so many wonderful things in this catalog, but I knew which suite I wanted to promote to y’all.

Everything I used to make this card is from the Regal Winter Suite Collection (found on page 35). I think this suite is so beautiful. It uses some of my favorite colors: Pretty Peacock, Blackberry Bliss, and Cherry Cobbler. I love the DSP so much, especially the floral medley paper. Stampin’ Up! loves that design too, and they included double the amount of that design in the DSP.

Tip: To make this card, I cut out the two pieces of DSP I wanted to use as the top and bottom piece to my desired dimension (5 1/8 x 3 7/8). I then held them one on top of the other and sliced them diagonally at the same time. That way, they fit together perfectly. It’s an easy way to make two cards at once!

I then used some scraps from cutting the larger piece of paper for the embellishment on the inside of the card. I was worried it would look strange since it didn’t span the length of the white piece, but I actually love it his way.

I love this suite so much and wanted to make this card special, so I took the time to emboss part of the sentiment. I haven’t done that in awhile but it matched the ribbon so perfectly I knew it would be worth it.

Tip: Speaking of the ribbon, I used Stampin’ Seal to secure the ribbon. That way, it didn’t leave a mark under the ribbon and liquid glue didn’t spill out around it. I did have to be careful about where I placed the adhesive, as I couldn’t move it afterward, but the diagonal cut was a useful guide.

I’m gearing up to move across the state and so I haven’t had as much crafting time, but I’m excited to unpack and organize my crafting space in our new home so I can get back to making things using the products from this mini catalog. There are so many things to try.
