I’m excited to be a part of the first ever Island Style Stampers blog hop! We decided that this theme should be Sale-A-Bration so we could showcase some of the products that you can get for free if you order with Stampin’ Up during Sale-A-Bration 2024 – from January 4 to February 29! I wanted to make a simple card that would showcase this Designer Series Paper, available for free during Sale-A-Bration. I thought a window card would be fun, especially since the punch coordinates with one of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets.

This is a great way to use up scraps of DSP, and the stamp sets that coordinate with this punch work for all sorts of holidays. The hardest part of the card is deciding which pieces to put next to each other, and the most fun part is punching them all out!

This card was also a chance for me to practice fixing mistakes. I stamped the sentiment on the envelope, intending to only have the word “love” on it. Instead of masking or cleaning the rest of the stamp, I decided to eyeball it. I ended up with a few marks on the envelope and decided to give the flap a handmade border using a matching marker.
