I wanted to make a simple and bright card to send to my mom this year for Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day was always her favorite holiday growing up, as she would patiently wait for my dad, sister, and me to bring her breakfast in bed. We even had our dog help–she would tow in a big balloon. I always want to help her have the best Mother’s Day possible, even when we’re far apart. I figured sending a handmade card with (mostly) current problems would be great for that!
This is a fairly simple design, though it does require a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine for the embossed eyelet pattern. I always think that cards that feature DSP are fairly easy to make a lot of quickly. I don’t have to stress about placing stamps just right, the paper design has already been done for me.

By the way, if by some chance you have found my blog and have not seen my mom’s work, please go check it out. She’s been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for years and I have learned a lot from her.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you moms out there, and happy crafting.
