I always love getting a gift that has a handmade element to it, even if it is the packaging. I thought this bag topper went with the bag of chocolate pecan clusters beautifully. The bag inspired my choice of colors and I imagined these might be great to eat as a snack with tea.

Since Coastal Cabana doesn’t have a Stampin’ Blends, I decided to try using the Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Write Marker. I think it came out really well! They’re not as easy to color with, since they’re not alcohol based, but I was glad to match the colors perfectly.
To make the topper, I used the following dimensions:
- Pecan Pie: 5 1/4″ x 4″ – score at 2″ along the short side
- Coastal Cabana – 5 1/4″ x 1″
- Basic White – 3 1/4″ x 1/2″
- Basic White – 1 3/4″ Circle Punch

I decided to use Stampin’ Seal to attach the topper to the bags instead of stapling it. I thought it looked nicer. I don’t think it adhered quite as well as it would have if I had used a stapler, but none of them fell off in transit. I could have used staples and then covered them up somehow. Maybe I’ll try that next time.
Happy Crafting!

What a pretty way to give a gift! I love that dotty design from the Everyday Details Dies! And the colors are my favorites!
